It was...EPIC!

Richard Craney of Red Apple Auctions got the gala guests to bid early and bid often. |

We are still recovering from all of the FUN at the Saturday night gala, and if you could not join us, we missed you terribly! Everything was spectacular - The Intruders, the award ceremony, the auctions, the food...everything!
Special thanks to Laura Kopp for sponsoring us at the Belle Haven Country Club, and to Mark Sorriano and Aubrey Shaffer of
Sharing the Details
for these early snaps of this great event! Here's a few:

Yes, please. The Intruders started the gala and ended the gala.

Those amazing Intruders. What can we say? The Belle Haven Country Club has never been rocked so hard, and the dance floor was just not big enough. So many tuxes and pretty dresses got a workout as the guests ended the evening dancing to "Shout"!
A little bit louder now...a little bit louder now....
One of the best parts of the evening was recognizing those who have helped Community Lodging accomplish its important mission over the last 30 years. We honored the eight founding Episcopal churches, 20+ year board members Barry Roman, Marty DeVine, Helen Lewis and George Tuttle, former ACT for Alexandria CEO/ Executive Director John Porter, and former housing client Jenny McDaniel, who now owns a lovely three-bedroom home in Alexandria.

It was a privilege to honor board member Helen Lewis, who has been part of Community Lodgings' success since 1987

When board members are happy, everyone is happy. And board member Selena Hutchinson looks very, very happy! |
