J.A.G. Fundraiser

Jefferson Actors' Guild (J.A.G.), the drama club at Jefferson, is conducting a fundraiser to support this year's production of Haphazardly Ever After. J.A.G. is selling space in the program available to the Summit community.

The space can be used to show your support through a message for the cast, or specific cast member. It can also be used to send a message to any student, or advertise a local business. The message can be sent from a family member, friend, or business.

The program will be distributed at the performances April 3rd-5th.

Please see the flyer here for size, pricing, and contact information.

Thank you for supporting this year's show and the future growth of J.A.G.!

Green Team News

Events Coming Up:
Saturday, March 23 @ 1:00pm-4:00pm
Green Summit & GreenFaith Circle's Repair Cafe at Christ Church Summit (561 Springfield Avenue)

Toss it? No way! Bring beloved but broken items to be fixed for free at the second Repair Cafe. Repair services include sewing/textiles, wood/furniture, plants/gardening, bicycles, jewelry and electronics.

SUMMIT AREA:  Think before you flush! Summit's Department of Community Services
this week issued an important alert. In short, "flushable" wipes and baby wipes are
not  actually flushable, and you should throw them in the trash. Other products cause fat/oil/grease build-ups in drains, such as cooking oils, dairy products, meat scraps/fats, salad dressing, and peanut butter. Don't pour these down your sink! These should also go in your regular trash.

What's the big deal?  Every day, over 4 million gallons of wastewater are generated in Summit. These fatty products/wipes build up and cause blockages. Our city staff has to spend many hours and resources to un-block the clogs, which for us taxpayers means higher sewer bills, and tax dollars being spent fixing avoidable blockages. See the whole alert   here .
Materials NEEDED

Mrs. Campagna needs your empty cardboard paper towel and toilet paper rolls! The materials will be repurposed and used in science. Please collect the ro lls (all year lo ng) and send in to school with your child.

Thank you!
Library Volunteer Sign Ups

If you are interested in helping out during the school year, please consider serving as a Library Volunteer. This is a great chance to see your child's class in action while they visit the library. Volunteers will help to shelve books, with book selection and check out.

(Please note, no siblings are allowed in the library while volunteering. Thank you!)

Please check out the sign up genius: CLICK HERE.
Scroll through until you find your child's class and then select dates. Please only select one date per month so others have a chance to help out too.

Thank you!
