St. Pius X / St. Leo School Newsletter February 23, 2018
MISSION COLLECTION

During Lent, we will collect "mission money" on Fridays (or the last day of the week when we have no school on Friday). We encourage students to donate from money that they earn. The school sends the donations to groups such as the Stephen Center, Servants of Mary, Covenant House and Holy Rosary Mission that serve the needy. The "mission money collection" will begin on Friday, March 3rd.

Please stop by the Scholastic Book Fair next week in the library. More information on the book fair can be found here .
St. Pius X / St. Leo School is a diverse community forming students in the Catholic faith to excel in academics and service to others.
TUITION ASSISTANCE

Tuition assistance information for the 2018-19 school year has not been sent out yet. We are hopeful to send the information out in the coming weeks.
14TH ANNUAL RACE FOR EDUCATION

The annual Race for Education will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018. The purpose of the event is to generate dollars to help meet some of the educational needs for St. Pius X / St. Leo School. The Race for Education is a unique fundraiser in which students are actively involved without selling items door to door.

Thursday, March 8th is Teacher Appreciation Day. We hope this day is a special day for our teachers at SPSL. You can remember your child or children's teachers with a special note, letter, card, poster or prayer on this day.  Straight from the Heart will treat the teachers to a lunch on this day. We value our teachers and think they are the best!
