Jackson Browne Guacamole Benefit Tickets
Thanks to everyone who has purchased benefit tickets for Jackson's upcoming tour (and to those who have in the past!  We love you all!).  A quick reminder about the details of these tickets:  Guacamole Benefit tickets comprise a program Jackson and his management have made possible in order to raise funds, while he is on tour, for great grassroot, non-profit organizations working in the areas of social justice, safe energy, a clean environment, a just better world!

Proceeds from the tickets are directed to the Guacamole Fund to be granted out  to carefully-vetted organizations on the front lines of the hard and critical work needed in these issue areas.  Tickets are *great* seats in the center 4th and 5th row; the portion of the ticket above the "face value" is a tax-deductible donation for the purchaser of the tickets.  The Guacamole Fund is a registered 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization; our Federal ID number is 33 061 9556.  Enjoy the show from excellent seats, knowing that you are joining Jackson and our non-profit groups in building a more peaceful and just world.  Thank you again, so much, for your support!  www.jacksonbrowne.com/tour

From the Women's Refugee Commission (WRC)
On International Women's Day
It has been our great honor to meet with refugee women and girls from around the world and hear directly from them about how they want to shape their own futures.

From Syria to Myanmar to South Sudan, I have heard from these mighty survivors about their dreams of finishing school, their desires to open their own businesses, their hopes for a bright future for themselves and their families.

That is why all of us at WRC are committed to advancing gender equality across the humanitarian system. And, it's why we are dedicated to ensuring that humanitarian programs fully embrace and promote the self-reliance of refugee women and girls.

On International Women's Day - we celebrate the resilience of the displaced women, children, and youth with whom we are so proud to partner. Please click below to learn more about our commitment to gender equality for every woman, no matter where she lives or how she got there.

Warmly,
Sarah Costa

The Center for Biological Diversity Sues Trump Over Fake Emergency
The Center has taken Trump to court over his unconstitutional money grab from Congress and taxpayers to build his destructive, immoral wall by declaring a national emergency.

His brazen abuse of authority is a direct attack on our democracy - all to fulfill a hateful campaign promise that would destroy wildlife and habitat and shatter communities in our borderlands. -- Trump himself admitted there is no real emergency. He's just grasping at straws to find any way possible to secure money to build a wall most people don't want - and taking the Constitution down with him.

We filed the first lawsuit against Trump's border wall in April 2017. We've also challenged the waivers he's used to ignore public-health and safety laws in constructing the wall in California, Texas and New Mexico.
Construction began just days ago on land in the Lower Rio Grande Valley National Wildlife Refuge, destroying some of the region's most important habitat. The Center will keep fighting as long as it takes to stop Trump's sacrifice of borderlands wildlife and our constitutional rights. Trump Declares Nationwide War on Wolves
The Trump administration has announced they're pulling the plug on saving America's wolves.  Their plan will strip Endangered Species Act protection from nearly every wolf in the lower 48.

Here's what happens if this plan holds: We will return to the days when wolves nationwide were shot on sight, crushed in steel traps, strangled in snares and whole families were poisoned in their dens.

Wolves are far from recovered. This attack will doom thousands of wolves. And more than four decades of work to save these iconic animals will come to a screeching, bloody halt.

We knew this day was coming, which is why we've already launched our largest grassroots campaign yet: Call of the Wild. Our campaign is pulling out all the stops to fight Trump's plan to eradicate wolves and show him and his allies that the war on wolves has to end.

And we're already in court to force the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to implement a nationwide recovery plan for wolves. Our lawyers, scientists and activists nationwide are ready for this fight.
