Its that time again. Bears do not hibernate in the Gresham area until after the Teddy Bear Parade. The Soroptomits do a great job on the parade.
Volunteers wanted and needed to help make this event a success. Contact the Chamber office to volunteer.
Schools look different inside and out. Gresham High, a two year project, will be one of the many signs of progress and necessary traffic precautions. Watch carefully for kids going back to school. They may be distracted by their excitement to see their remodeled school. DRIVE CAREFULLY.
Gresham High is not the only school showing construction progress.   Click here to see an official Gresham Barlow District report on what is happening.

Tourism

With thousands of miles of backcountry beauty to explore, Oregon is the perfect place for camping getaways. You can set up camp within earshot of waves crashing on the beach, sleep under the stars in wide-open high desert, or hike deep into a lush forest to pitch your tent. It’s no wonder Chris Santella, author of the new “ Fifty Places to Camp Before You Die ,” keeps coming back to this great state. The author of the popular ‘Fifty Places’ series lets us know what makes  camping   in Oregon so special and which campsites have him hooked. Read more Here!
