AML will also be closed on Monday, January 21 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Young readers can make a 15-minute appointment to read aloud to Molly. Molly has gone to school to be a therapy dog, so she is a perfect listener.

Story Times
 
Preschool Story Time
Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.

Children ages 3-7 are invited to drop-in for an interactive themed storytime  with picture books, music and movement followed by a craft.

No registration required.

Registration for January / February session of  Under Twos and Tremendous Twos  Story Times will begin  December 31 . The session begins on January 8. Call the Children's Department at 978-929-6655, option 4 for more information.
Family Movie Nigh t

Smallfoot
Friday, January 18 at 7 p.m.

Rated PG

An animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast, Smallfoot turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn't exist-a human. News of this "smallfoot" throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in an all new story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.

One adult must remain at the library with each family group for the duration of the program. The library is not open for other services.

Youngsters ages 4 and up are invited to sharpen their Lego skills. Bring your imagination--the library has the Legos!  No sign-up needed.

The library's collection of games, including Monopoly, puzzles, card games, checkers, chess, and more, is at the disposal of library users ages 6 to 12 and their families. New games to the collection are Candy Land, Hoot Owl Hoot, and Race to the Treasure.
