Red Brick Store in view across the way, was taken one snowy day in early March as I trekked through open fields enjoying the enveloping feeling of history.
The first structure represents the Priesthood. The second symbolizes the Relief Society's beginning. It is very befitting that these two pillars in church history face one another as a reminder of words spoken by Joseph Smith that "The church was never perfectly organized until the women were thus organized."
Still true today, one is not complete without the other.
