Dr. Nagy-Szakal is experienced in infectious diseases, AI-powered molecular diagnostics and translational medicine. Her career spans a range of areas from running successful clinical trials and building and overseeing clinical diagnostic laboratories to holding technical and practical workshops as well as invited talks at major international congresses. Her industry expertise is deep rooted in academic and translational research with 25+ peer reviewed publications and over 50 international presentations and webinars spanning the fields of Microbiome, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Neuroscience, Gut-Brain Axis, Clinical Microbiology, Next-Generation Sequencing, Infectious Diseases as well as Public Health.

Dr. Olle has been a member of the founding teams of several companies of the PureTech portfolio and served as a member of the Board of Directors of Vedanta Biosciences and Follica Biosciences. In 2013 Dr. Olle was named "Innovator of the Year" MIT Technology Review Spain "Innovators under 35 awards" He completed his doctoral work at the Chemical Engineering Department at MIT, where he developed a novel method for large-scale bacterial culture.
