Thank you
To the diverse array of facility owners, operators, shareholders,
municipalities, various park staff and members, thank you for offering the unique golf experiences for residents and visitors to Saskatchewan who enjoy playing golf.  To the players, thank you for teeing it up and supporting the facilities both locally and away from home. We hope you have enjoyed the 2018 golf season in Saskatchewan, and we hope to see you back on the links with your current friends and family as well as those who you will assist to join you in 2019. Until then, keep it in the short
grass!

Golf's New Rules
Effective, Jan. 1, 2019 the USGA is implementing several rule changes in golf. We will have a number of publications outlining the alterations moving forward. Here are some of the more significant changes going into the new year in a fun, illustrated explanation.

Pace of Play - it is recommended a player is ready to play and takes no more than 40 seconds to play her/his shot. This includes putting on a glove, taking information regarding hole location, wind direction etc. Ready golf is encouraged provided it is safe to play in stroke play. Maximum Score - defined by the Committee under local rule. Player has an option to putt with the flagstick in the green when the ball is on the putting green.

As you can see by the picture, these items are what most players do when they regularly golf.

Time for Ball search has been reduced to 3 minutes. (saving 2 minutes per ball search). This one should assist in moving the pace of play along.

TaylorMade Canada                           Adidas Golf Canada

The above items may improve your game and make you feel better on the course.
