A MESSAGE FROM MRS. POWERS
Dear Parents,
As we approach the Easter season, we will learn about the joy and importance of sharing the love of Jesus. Each week we will
focus on understanding a key verse that will help us when we share the Good News
with others.
This week,
March 11-15, we will talk about John 3:16
,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
- God made us, the world, and everything in it.
- He loves us.
- He lives in heaven and is holy, and perfect.
- There is one thing that can never be in heaven, and that is sin.
Here’s a look at the
verses for the weeks ahead
:
- March 18-22, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
- March 25-29, “...Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures” 1 Corinthians 15:3b
- April 1-5, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
- April 8-12, “... just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7
Yours in Christ,
Carrie A. Powers
Wexford Campus Principal
