Final Food Pantry Collection Until Fall!
On Sunday, June 2, we will hold our final collection date for the New Trier Township Food Pantry until the fall. To help support students who will be home from school and thus unable to take advantage of free lunch programs over the summer, please consider doubling your donation this month!!
Items we will be collecting:
* Granola Bars
* Soup
* Macaroni & Cheese
* Beans (canned & dried)
* Canned fruit
Please bring your donations to the Prevost Cloister on Sunday, June 2 after both services. We will also happily accept cash donations to pass along to the pantry as well so they can supplement during the lean summer months.
If you have a garden, please consider sharing some of your bounty with the Food Pantry so they can offer residents fresh produce! You can drop produce at the New Trier Township Office at 739 Elm Street in Winnetka during their normal business hours.
Thank you for your ongoing support of this ministry which serves a vital need in our own community!!

Book Group Starting New Book
The program year may be winding down, but at Book Group we're still going strong! Come join us Tuesday, June 4, as we start our new book
The Time is Now by Catholic nun, author and speaker Joan Chittister.
In her newest book, Sister Joan draws on the wisdom of prophets, both ancient and modern, to help us confront the societal forces that oppress and silence the sacred voices among us. We meet in the McClain Room at the church. If you have any questions, please contact Susie Sprowl.

Hymnathon Thanks
Many thanks to all of you who supported our recent Hymnathon! Through your generosity, and through the hard work of our singers and organizers, our Youth Choir was able to raise $10,000 for its tour fund. Thank you, thank you! Special congratulations go to our top three Youth Choir fundraisers, Mattie Blair MacDonald, Lily Generes, and Grace Rempel. Congratulations also go to our three Hymnathon organizers: Sarah Generes, Amanda MacDonald, and Charlotte McGee. Donations raised will help ensure that all interested youth choristers are able to participate in our choir's annual touring. Our next tour will be to Lincoln Cathedral in the UK this August.

The children really look forward to this and frankly, so do the adults! We love to offer homemade goodies whenever possible.
