Our December 8
Holiday Party & Awards Dinner was a resounding success, and we again thank everyone who spent part or all of the evening with us at the European Crystal.
We were honored by the presence of Polish Consul General Piotr Janicki and his wife Lauren; Chicago Bureau Chief of Polish Investment & Trade Agency Michal Rzeznik; President of Cook County Toni Preckwinkle; Justice Jesse G. Reyes; Lucy Wojdyla of the City's Procurement Department; and representatives of other organizations, including the Polish American Congress Illinois Division; Polish American Contractor Builders Association (PACBA); Polish American Association; Polish Women in Business; and Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA).
The celebratory ambiance of the event was certainly enhanced by the presentation of our business awards. Congratulations go to the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA) - recipient of the PACC's 2018 Corporate Valor Award;

We were also very pleased that during the official part of the event, Consul General Piotr Janicki accepted our Chamber Honorary Membership. Thrivent Financial was recognized as our corporate newest member.
PACC
Certificates of Appreciation were presented to
Grazyna Skoczen and
Anna Tukiendorf-Wilhite for their magnanimous effort and dedication in organizing the 2018
Gift for Skolimow Charity Gala.
In addition, guests of the event had an opportunity to meet Joseph Zurawski, author of The Polish Presence in American Screen Images, purchase his book as a perfect holiday present, and had fun dancing to the tunes performed by the Format Band.
