Grounded in Gratitude
Genesis 1:27-31

The act of creation, and the naming of that creation as good, is the first step in understanding God's loving and giving nature. God chose to bring us and all that is into existence. This giving spirit has been placed within us, as we are created in God's image. Experiencing God's creation can and should ground us in a spirit of gratitude and remind us that we are called to give like God.

Saturday:
5pm with Praise Band

Sunday:
8:15am with Hymns and Organ
9:30am with Praise Band
11am with Chancel Choir

Service of Remembrance

Join us for a brief but meaningful service on Sunday, November 4, at 2pm, where we lift up the names of those loved ones that have died since last All Saints. KUMC celebrates their lives through our pastoral care ministry as we walk with their families. It is at this time that the eternal hope experienced through the risen Christ Jesus reminds us that we do not walk alone. We are the Easter People. May we always find a way to be people of hope through all of life's struggles.
Looking to Get Connected?

Join us  November 7  at 6:30pm in DAC 410 to hear about who we are at KUMC and what it means to join with us. This is a time for people who are looking to join officially or get more information on ways to connect. An official time to join through baptism or church membership is offered.
Sharing the Joy

November 10 and  11, we invite you to s upport our neighbors locally and around the world as you shop at  Sharing the Joy, the annual alternative gift fair presented by the United Methodist Women.  Twenty-five fair trade organizations offer numerous products, such as paper bead jewelry, oil-drum art, home décor items, organic coffee and chocolate made by an artisan who is struggling to support a family. It is a great place to find Christmas gifts that are unique as well as give gifts to nonprofit organizations in honor of a loved one.  Learn more!
