Dear Supporter of Fair and Open Competition:
The spread of PLAs continues into the New Year. While educational entities continue to be the prime target, PLAs are literally everywhere as our 2015 to 2018 PLA Activity Chart shows.

CFEC needs your help to keep the tracking of and fighting against PLAs going. Click here if you would like to make a credit card donation TODAY!

To the report:

Education
Oxnard School District:  This District's voters have approved over $200 million in construction bonds the past 6 years and these funds are now being targeted for a PLA thanks to a school board member. CFEC is actively opposing this effort and we ask that you contact the school board today to let them know how you feel about their monies being wasted under a PLA.

Whittier City School District : This District entered into a PLA in January of 2015 and is now considering expanding it to cover more projects. Please let the school board in this Orange County school district know how you feel about PLAs:

Anaheim Elementary School District:  The school board was given a presentation on PLAs at their February 7th meeting. CFEC is following this issue closely and making sure that the board is educated fully on the issue. Please contact the board today and let them know where you stand on the issue:

Cities
Lancaster:  On January 23rd the City Council in this Antelope Valley entity voted to approve a city-wide PLA. CFEC will be meeting with the city to see where this "idea" came from and to educate them as to what they can expect as a result. Stay tuned.

San Diego : CFEC has been prominently featured in TWO news articles regarding our fight against any PLA on the San Diego Convention Center Expansion. If you would like to be part of what we anticipate will be an expensive fight to keep this work PLA-free, please contact CFEC today.
