Reminder
: For an evaluation to be considered a summative Teacher Development & Evaluation (TD&E), the cover sheet
MUST
be completed and submitted to Human Resources with the evaluation.
A signed copy of the summative evaluation cover sheet AND the evaluation must be sent to Human Resources within two weeks of the conference between the administrator and the educator being evaluated.

TD&E End-of-Year Reflections
Specific deadlines have been determined by each school and/or department for the end-of-year reflection package and peer collaboration reflections to be submitted through PDExpress.
Plans and reflections should be designated as Approved/Not Approved in PDExpress. Please make the appropriate designation according to the rubric for TD&E Written Reflections from the Standards Evaluation Tools (e.g., SET). The rubric can also be found in the TD&E Schoology group.
Plans and reflections that reflect 'below standards' indicators should show as 'Not Approved.' Plans and reflections that correlate to the 'developing, proficient, and distinguished' indicators should show as 'Approved.' Reflections should be processed by the administrative team within two weeks of the submission deadline.
Comments provide educators with guidance and support for reflection and growth. Whether 'Approved' or 'Not Approved,' comments should be shared with educators on the end-of-year reflection package. Remember to save the comment before updating the status to 'Approved' or 'Not Approved.' The comment section is always at the bottom of the form. For this reason, clearly label your comment so that educators know to which component you are referring (IGDP, Student Engagement, Student Achievement).
TD&E Peer Collaboration Credit in PDExpress
A reminder to have your PDExpress contact update peer collaboration courses for your school/department by June 7. There are two courses for each school/department: one for the collaborator role and one for educators participating in peer collaboration. Peer collaborators earn two clock hours for each peer collaboration that they facilitate with an educator. Educators similarly earn two clock hours for participating in peer collaboration.
