Islamic Weekend School Graduation

Assalamu Alaikum Islamic Weekend School families and teachers.
We would like to invite you to the Graduation Ceremony for the class of 2018 – 2019

All students from Special needs, preschool classes (A,B) all starter classes (1A,1B,1C,1D,2A,2B,3A,3B) and elementary classes (1A,1B,1C) from both first and second sessions, should arrive at their classes at 10:00 am, and wait for their teachers to take them to The Mirror Hall.

All students from elementary 2 classes (2A,2B), elementary 3 classes (3A,3B), junior boys and girls and senior boys and girls classes, from both sessions, should arrive at their classes at 12:00 pm, and wait for their teachers to take them to The Mirror Hall.

Students will be picked up from The Mirror Hall after the ceremony.

Extra parking will be at Meijer. Free shuttle buses will be available at Meijer parking lot from 10:00 pm - 2:00 am

Dear all,

I wanted to let you know that my daughter Jasmine will be discussing and signing her newest book, a middle grade book in verse, at Joseph Beth in Cincinnati June 1 at 2:00 pm. I have attached a flyer for the event below. Please feel free to copy and distribute the flyer anywhere you like.

The pre publication period for the book is going great (four starred critical reviews so far, an Indie Next top ten selection, a Project Lit Book Club pick middle grade selection, and a Jr library guild selection!!) She is going to be on NPR the week of the book’s release (May 28th).  

We would love to see you there and thank you so so much for your continued support of Jasmine’s career!!!

Participants in this training will raise their awareness of the impact of Human Trafficking in Ohio, and our community. Topics included are definitions of sex and labor trafficking, identifying characteristics of victims, including how early trauma and substance use may play a role in vulnerability to being trafficked, as well as laws and services relating to both sex and labor trafficking. Hear from a survivor of trafficking who will share her story. 

Target Audience : Social service providers, educators, counselors, therapists, health care workers, community members, parents, etc.

CEUs : 5.5 Social Work/ Counselor CEUs are provided by the Butler County Educational Service Center approved & awarded by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, & MFT Board Approval RSX050901 & RCX051001. 5.5 Contact Hours for Educators.

Cost : Free.
