Happy Holidays from all of us at Vessels!
We will see you back on January 7, 2019.
Safety at Vessels
Please remember that safety is our #1 priority. Please make sure to obey all traffic rules in and around the parking lot and the Vessels tract.

Included below is a list of ways you can help to keep our kids safe:

  • Pull all the way forward to the sign when dropping off or picking up.
  • Watch for students and parents crossing when leaving the lot.
  • Do not park in front of our neighbor's driveways.
  • Do not pull into the bus only areas at any time.
  • Slow down when coming or going on Cathy

As an FYI, Cypress Police Department have stepped up patrols in the area and have been ticketing those that do not obey stop signs or speed limits. We want to keep everyone safe, so please make sure to allow 20 minutes for drop off and pick up.

Thank you for your understanding and for making this the best year ever!
Sharing is caring

As you clean out your closets to make room for the new gifts this year, please remember to put aside your gently used clothing items for our upcoming Sharing is Caring event. Our collection week will be January 22 nd – 25 th . Your clothing will go to families in need within our community. Thank you for your generosity. More details to follow.

Attendance Matters

It is important that every child is at school every day. It makes sense that every day missed is a missed opportunity for learning and making up for that day's instruction is virtually impossible. During this holiday season, please make sure that your child doesn't miss an opportunity to be in class, be engaged, and learn.

SBAC Test Practice at home
Every year, third-sixth grade students take the Smarter Balanced (SBAC) test as a summative assessment in April.

This test is computer/internet based and allows a snapshot of student skills in both math and ELA. It is a great indicator of student progress and the data is used to help teachers plan for the following school year.

If you would like to help us, help your child prepare, click HERE for a comprehensive, grade-specific, online practice test.
Please remember that we have Juice It Up for purchase every Friday by the front gate.
