Changing the Charity Paradigm

How Reimagine Charity Can Change Lives and Restore Community

Based on the work and writings of noted community developer Robert Lupton (Toxic  Charity, Charity Detox), this dynamic, practical workshop generates fresh ideas and energy  for non-profits, churches, service organizations, and business owners who wish to pursue real  and lasting community change.

Through exercises and small group interaction, participants will work on real-life initiatives  and come away prepared to re-vitalize their own community service work and projects.

Join us on November 14th from 9am - 4pm at Wartburg College.  For full details and  to learn more about this unique workshop or register,  CLICK HERE!

Request For Proposal

E ach fall, the UNI Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Student Association requests proposals from nonprofit organizations who have a service partnership idea. Through these partnerships, groups of students provide service to our partner organizations, including assistance in planning and implementing events, delivering programs, and improving and/or developing new resources.

These partnerships not only infuse resources into the organizations but also provide our students with unique, hands-on learning experiences as they continue to broaden their understanding of the work of nonprofit organizations. We are currently accepting proposals for these service partnership ideas, and proposals will be due back to us no later than October 19th [read more...]
