Our Theme: Becoming a Leader by Empowering Ourselves, and Others, to Create a Better and Greener World
|
|
What do we mean by “Becoming a Leader?”
People who empower themselves and step up to take responsibility, to make the world a better and greener place for humanity and for all the natural world!
Where are they leading?
In their homes, their neighborhoods and communities, in workplaces, cities, states, and countries – we need leaders on every front and at every level. From solo change leaders, to leaders of others, we are honoring individuals who have taken the initiative to make a difference!
Nominate those whom you know and have been inspired by; those you have heard about and have admired; or even self-nominate if you are working to make a difference on a particular initiative(s).
Awardees will be recognized for their accomplishments and asked to speak about some of their leadership experiences and insights with the audience.
Please note: nominees need to be available to attend the Four Gen Awards Event in person. They can reside in the Metro DC area, or anywhere in the world, and can reach the event of their own volition.
Here are the four generational categories for the Four Gen Awards
:
- Millennial/Gen Z: born from 1981 - 2000
- Generation X: born from 1965 - 1980
- Baby Boomer: born 1946 - 1964
- World War II: born 1927 - 1945
What might the nominees be doing? They might be active in education; awareness; innovation; implementation; advocacy; developing a project, service, policy or program; or others.
Where might they be making an impact?
Areas such as clean energy: green business; environmental clean-up; circular economy, recycling and food waste; technology; or others.
