Amy Jerdee Named President of St. Francis Regional Medical Center

St. Francis Regional Medical Center has named Amy Jerdee as its new president. Jerdee will assume her new position on Monday, June 24.

"Amy is an exceptional leader with outstanding clinical and operational experience, most recently as president of clinical operations at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin," said Deb Pauly, St. Francis Regional Medical Center board chair. "Everyone who has met Amy in this process agrees that she will be a wonderful addition to the St. Francis team."

Jerdee began her career as a registered nurse in the cardiac surgery intensive care unit at Mayo Medical Center in Rochester. She then earned a law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, after which she spent five years as a practicing lawyer at a Milwaukee firm specializing in health care law. She then joined the Aurora system, within which she has had several roles, including leading the Women's Health and Orthopedic service lines, in Business Development and Director of Clinical Risk Management.

"I am very excited to have been selected to lead St. Francis Medical Center.  It is apparent that the hospital is fully committed to its mission and providing high quality, patient-focused care," Jerdee said. "I look forward to continuing to grow the services offered to meet the needs of this community."

As Vice President of Operations at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, she was responsible for leading over 600 employees in multiple areas including Surgical Services, Diagnostics and Radiation Oncology, Rehabilitation/Sports Medicine, and Pharmacy services. She was integral in the operational coordination for over $70 million in construction, the development of an interventional radiology program resulting in accreditation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, and surgical efficiency and throughput efforts leading to strong growth in surgical volume with over 17,000 surgical procedures in 2018.
