Snowstorm Luncheon Thank You!
The teachers were showered with gratitude at the annual Snowstorm luncheon.  In return the PSO was showered with messages from faculty and staff to express their overwhelming appreciation of all that the PSO has done for them.
CHANGE IN JANUARY CONFERENCE DAYS (EARLY RELEASE DAYS AND FRIDAY OFF)
In our efforts to coordinate with the city of Scottsdale for the busy period of Barrett Jackson at Westworld in January, the dates were inadvertently relayed incorrectly. This issue will cause a change in our early dismissal and conference days scheduled in January. Please see the below change to our January calendar for 2019.
New Dates
Early Release Days and Parent/Teacher Conferences: Monday, January 14th - Thursday, January 17th (Regular Half Day Schedule).
No School on Friday January 18th: Parent Conferences will also be held on this day, but students will not attend. Friday is the highest traffic day of the Barrett Jackson event so this relieves all families from the traffic issues associated with drop off and pick up.
No School on MLK/Civil Rights Day: Students will have Monday, January 21, 2018 off in remembrance of Martin Luther King and Civil Rights Day.
Regular School Days: January 22-25 will now be normal school days.
Please see below for an updated visual representation of these changes:

Spelling Bee Winner!

Congratulations to Scottsdale Prep's Luis Chiappetti, who won the 2018-2019 Spelling Bee last week.  His last championship word?  Electrolysis.  Luis will continue on to represent Scottsdale Prep in the Great Hearts district Spelling Bee in January.
End of Year Giving at Scottsdale Prep
The Scottsdale Prep education being offered to our students will have a lasting and deep impact on their lives and our community. This education is only possible with your support. If you've made your gifts to our
Community Investment campaign and Tax Credit drive, thank you!
If you've yet to make your gifts, please do so soon. Winter Break is coming and it's time to complete your charitable giving for 2018! Gifts to our  Community Investment campaign help us close the gap between what we receive in public funding and the actual cost to deliver a Great Hearts education to our students. Community Investment campaign gifts are fully tax-deductible.
Gifts to our Tax Credit drive support our extra-curricular, athletic, and character-building programs. Tax Credit contributions are received back as a dollar-for-dollar credit off your state tax liability.
Together, we can provide the education our students deserve and we chose for them. Thank you for partnering with Scottsdale Prep. Please contact Paola Gale, Academy Giving Manager at pgale@scottsdaleprep.org or 480-776-3571 with questions.
