Disaster Chaplaincy Training
The Beecken Center

National Disaster Interfaiths Network (NDIN)
, invites clergy and lay spiritual caregivers of all faiths to take this disaster chaplaincy training on the campus of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee,
July 15–17, 2019
. Participants who complete this certification can volunteer in their own diocese or faith community, or with NDIN and its national partners. NDIN can also assist unaffiliated volunteers in finding disaster spiritual care volunteer opportunities in local communities across the United States. Camp is the cornerstone of SUMMA Student Theological Debate Society, which provides a way for high school students to build their faith through intellectual channels. Foundation Grant Application Now Live
The Grant Committee of the Foundation of the Diocese of East Carolina urges anyone with program or project needs to apply for grants that will be awarded for 2019 through the Endowment's Undesignated Funds. These funds will be available to the applicant no later than January 31, 2020.
The grant application must be completed and in Diocesan House by September 1st. The foundation page on the website can be found

Just One Thing
High school seniors and current college students headed back to universities and colleges across North Carolina can connect with the Episcopal Campus Ministry through "Just One Thing."
This one-page form will send contact information for the student to the Campus Ministry on college campuses where there are ministries. In the Diocese of East Carolina, this includes ECU in Greenville, UNCP in Pembroke, and UNCW in Wilmington.

Evento de Jóvenes Episcopales Panamá
EJE is an event for young people between the ages of 16 and 26 along with some chaperones from the Ninth Province. Even though the event is for the Ninth Province, young people from Cuba, Mexico, IARCA and Brazil were also invited. Now some young people and chaperones from the United States are also being invited. The date is July 17-20, 2019.
The
Office of Latino/Hispanic Ministry invites a delegation of 15 people from the United States; 13 young people between the ages of 16 and 26, and two chaperones of 27 years or older. The cost of registration which includes the program, food, lodging and local transportation will be covered by the Office of Latino/Hispanic Ministry. The roundtrip flight to Panama and other expenses that are generated will be the responsibility of each participant.

here and you will be notified if you are selected. Keep in mind that the event will be entirely in Spanish and there will be no English interpretation.

National Acolyte Festival 2019
Join acolytes from across the United States for a morning service of re-dedication and Holy Eucharist. Bring your processional crosses, banners, torches, thuribles, flags, and streamers for a festive procession of acolytes, clergy, and vergers. Workshops in the afternoon offer enrichment and instruction. This year's National Acolyte Festival takes place at

Funding Ministry Through Innovation Summit: Life Beyond the Plate and Pledge
The
CEEP Network
invites applicant teams of one clergy and one lay person from diverse parishes – meaning diversity of size, member profile/demographics, and financial resources – throughout the United States and abroad to a summit and symposium on discerning new paths to fund mission and ministry that embrace the economic realities of today’s church. This event will take place at
Kanuga
in Hendersonville, NC from September 18th through 22nd.
