From the Executive Director Mary Brooks
Greetings!

There is much conversation these days around metrics, and measuring impact. White Pony Express is building a team of skilled volunteers who are working hard to help us as we begin to measure and report to our constituents how our activities are changing lives.

But sometimes impact cannot be measured in numbers - it goes deeper than that.

Be sure to read the story of one of our drivers, Cliff, who first learned of White Pony Express as the recipient of a sandwich at a time when he was without shelter and food, and how a sandwich, given with love, was one step to bringing him back to the mainstream of life. This is a story of love without measure.

And remember, until June 16 , any gift you give to WPE
will be matched dollar-for-dollar by our 3 Angels .

We're half way to our goal of raising $300,000 with three weeks left to go .

I know that together we can meet this challenge and honor the intentions of our Angel donors to match every one of your gifts so that we can continue the life changing work of ALL OF US TAKING CARE OF ALL OF US !
Pony Tales: Stories of Impact From the Community
Journey From Homelessness to WPE
From time to time we are lucky enough to learn, sometimes in the most interesting ways, about how a big difference can be made by the smallest gifts of time and attention. One such story comes to us from Cliff, one of the Food Rescue Driver-Coordinators.

The transformative story of Cliff’s journey from homelessness to White Pony Express is one that has touched many of us.

Food Rescue drivers now have the expanded title of Driver-Coordinators. With the new title comes the very important task of being the day-to-day faces of the Food Rescue program. There are so familiar faces...
