Credit Union Trends Report available now
CUNA Mutual Group provides a Credit Union Trends Report each month, containing the latest information on the state of credit union lending, membership and assets.

 
Highlights of the report include:
  • Over the last 12 months, total credit union loan balances rose more than 10.7%, the 39th consecutive month of greater than 10% annual loan growth. 
  • Credit union fixed-rate first mortgage loan balances grew 1.7% in November, double the pace set in November 2016.
  • As of November 2017, CUNA estimates 5,806 credit unions were in operation, down 248 from November 2016.
