March 2019

Dear Friends,

As we look forward to warmer weather, there are numerous opportunities for our youth: summer camps, scholarships, employment, and more. For the past four years, I've sent a spring newsletter to share items which may be useful for your family. This message is chock full of helpful information. If I missed an item, please let me know and I'll share it via social media.

Do you know that Comcast offers an Internet Essentials program where qualifying households can purchase high-speed internet for $9.95/mo and can also purchase low-cost computers?

The Prince George's County Memorial Library System also allows patrons to check-out Educational SmartSpots for free access to WiFi! If you haven't visited the PGCMLS website lately, please spend some time checking it out. Our libraries offer so much more than books-- job seeker services, f ree Rosetta Stone language learning, 3D printing and virtual reality, live homework help, tutoring, and more!

As always, feel free to reach out to a member of my District 3 team or me if we can help you in any way. #onlytogether

Together Strengthening Our Community,
