SCSS NEWSLETTER

Dear Parents,

A Christmas nativity is probably one of the most recognizable symbols of the Christmas season. Last Saturday after the 4:00 p.m. Mass, our Pre-K students presented their Christmas Pageant retelling the story of the Nativity, accompanied by the Angel Chorus. It was a beautiful and meaningful performance that was enjoyed by our community.

The Pope has said that each year the Christmas Crib and the Christmas tree become a symbol of the compassion of the heavenly Father. Pope Francis reminds us that in the simplicity of the crib we meet and contemplate the tenderness of God, manifested in that of the Child Jesus.

Quote from Pope Francis:

"This Christmas let us ask Mary, Mother of Jesus and our Mother, to help us see in our neighbor the face of Jesus, God made man."

On behalf of the entire staff of St. Catherine of Siena School, we wish you, your family and the students a holy and peaceful Christmas and every blessing for the New Year!

Faithfully Yours,

Miss Giaquinto
