The AirTrain Jazz Festival series continues this week with The Eric Frazier Quintet on the AirTrain Jamaica stage. Celebrate Jamaica’s rich jazz history and check out live presentations of some of the New York City metropolitan area’s best jazz musicians

Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning invites you to experience a world of music through Emmett Wigglesworth's lenses in this jazz and blues series. See how music helped shape his journey through the Civil Right Movement, the Marine Corp, hitch-hiking through America, and traveling in Europe and the Caribbean.

The QCA ArtPort Residency

The QCA ArtPort Residency – a program of the Queens Council on the Arts in collaboration with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, LaGuardia Airport – offers a unique opportunity to a Queens artist to create new work, interact with the thousands of visitors that come through LaGuardia daily, and bring an engaging cultural experience to the airport.

Each resident artist will also receive a $6,500 stipend.
