CancerFightClub
December 2018
It takes a community

We want to hear from you

It's no secret that the needs of young adults with cancer differ from those of the general population. That's why Hope & Cope created Montreal's first support group for young adults. It's how CancerFightClub came to be and it's why our grassroots programs evolve with the times.

What kind of programs do you want in 2019?! Take 10 minutes of your time to let us know by filling out this anonymous and confidential survey.

Our programs may change, but our goal remains the same: to offer innovative programming and a safe place where young adults between the ages of 18-39 and their supporters can connect, share, learn and recharge in a supportive community.

February 7-9, 2018

Our fabulous weekend retreat at Spa Jouvence in the Eastern Townships is just weeks away!

This free retreat in beautiful surroundings has been described as a "refueling of the soul." Come and meet other young adults who understand what you are going through, and participate in workshops that will provide you with great coping tools and strategies for living with cancer. There will also be time to socialize, relax and experience the healing power of nature.

Space is limited, and you have until January 9th to register

Click here to fill out the on-line registration form

Please note that due to space constraints, priority will be given to "first-timers" - those who have not attended our weekend retreats in the past.

Thanks to the Antony Proteau Fund and Un pas pour la vie for their generous support of this annual retreat.

We've got a great new resource for young families with children under the age of 18.  Produced by Hope & Cope's En famille program, this beautifully illustrated, meticulously researched booklet is written in clear, simple language and available in English and French.

You can download your copy here

This is the first in a series of three booklets - the second, called Talking to Children about Advanced Cancer, will be available early in the New Year.
