Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf Needs Donations for Easter Distribution

The Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf is looking for community donations to assist with their Easter distributions.

Needed by Monday April 8

brownie mix

Drop off for hams will be on Saturday, April 20th between 7:30 -8:30 am

40 sliced ham steaks
60 hams enough for 2-3 people
50 hams enough to service 4-6 people

Congratulations to Family First on 50 years!!!

It seems like just yesterday but 50 years ago Family First opened for business in the home of Penfield teacher Dick Denison. The Penfield Central Federal Credit Union (as it was known then) was chartered to serve those who worked at the Penfield Central School District. A lot has happened in the last 50 years, and we're proud to say we still serve the community with that same spirit as our founders did.

At the February Penfield Business Chamber Board Meeting, President Marie Cinti, Town Sueprvisor Tony LaFountain and Director of Development Jim Costello presented a recognition plaque to Tom Dambra, Family First Credit Union of NY President.

Baytowne Plaza to host weekly Penfield Farmers & Craft Market

Baytowne Plaza has announced that they will host a Farmers & Craft Market at Brandt Point Park inside Baytowne Plaza. The site will have a 40 x 85 foot tent on site from May 1 through October 30 to host this new market every Wednesday from 4 to 7:30 pm.

The Brandt Point Park tent will also host a variety of events from May through October. Family Movie Night Under the Tent every other Saturday night (beginning May 3), Beats & Eats every third Friday (featuring food trucks and live music) and many additional special events and festivals from May through October.
