Holiday 2018

What a great evening!  More than 270 attended our fifth annual Petcasso at The Summit,
the new contemporary hotel in Madisonville. Guests enjoyed a cocktail buffet, open bar,
live jazz, bourbon pull, and a silent/online auction which included 11 fabulous Painted Pets.

Many thanks
 to our sponsors, emcees, artists,
auction donors, volunteers - and all who attended and/or participated in the online auction and raffles!  The event netted almost $36,000 in unrestricted funds which will directly support the operation of the clinic in 2019.

And - congratulations to Dr. Emily Eilers who was the winner of the Travel Raffle.  We're looking forward to hearing about her trip to Seattle!

Mark your calendars now for Petcasso 2019 - Saturday, November 16, 2019 at The Summit.

 (Corrected link!)

A lot has changed since the clinic opened in 2013 - but our mission and commitment have remained constants. E njoy this  BRIEF VIDEO , which
sums up perfectly why we're here.

Many thanks to our donors, grantors and volunteers for your  continued support  and encouragement.  Without you, we would never  have achieved such great success in our first five years.

Best wishes for a happy holiday season, and a healthy 2019!

Pets In Need has  received a $5,000 grant from the Elsa Heisel Sule Foundation. The  funds
will be used for referral care fo
r dogs in 2019.   The clinic's in-house capabilities don't include surgery,  x-rays, or other specialty diagnostics and we rely on several partnering veterinary practices to provide these critical services for our clients. The need for referral care has increased significantly over the last two years so we're very grateful to have this support!

Established in 2004, the Elsa Heisel Sule Foundation is an independent charitable foundation which supports nonprofit organizations and public agencies in the Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana tristate area. Consistent with  its founder's philanthropic aspirations, its primary areas of focus are education, the arts, children, adults, and animals.
