BOYS BASKETBALL SCHEDULE CHANGE
The Saturday, January 5 boys basketball game is away, at Lakota beginning with JV at 6:00pm. 
 
ALUMNI HALL OF FAME TAILGATE PARTY JANUARY 18
All SMCC Alumni, family, and friends are invited to stop by the Alumni Hall of Fame Tailgate Party Friday, January 18 for a night of food, fun, and fellowship. The party begins at 5:00pm in the Main Hall before the Boys Basketball game vs. Fremont St. Joe.  
 
The 2018 Hall of Fame Class will be inducted at a ceremony at the Sandusky Yacht Club on Sunday, January 20.  Doors open at 1:00pm with the banquet beginning at 2:00pm.

SCRIP ORDER REMINDER
All SCRIP orders are due on Mondays by 10:00am. Orders will be sent home with students on Friday of the same week. If you need to make other arrangements for pick-up, please call Laura at 419-366-2134.

CELEBRATE CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK WITH THE TOLEDO WALLEYE
The Toledo Walleye Hockey Team is excited to team up with the Diocese of Toledo for a Catholic Schools Kick-Off Game on Sunday, January 27 at 5:00pm. Tickets must be purchased by Thursday, January 24. Please click here for tickets.

VICTORY SUITE AVAILABLE
The Victory Suite is located in the balcony of "The Den" in The Kinzel Center and is a great way to enjoy a basketball game or event! It seats up to 12 people, and you can bring your own food, or we have catering packages available. The rental cost is $100 per game/event, and does not include the ticket price to the event. PRESCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL NEWS

BASKETBALL MINI-CHEER CLINIC
On Saturday, February 2, the Panther Cheerleaders will be hosting a basketball season Mini- Cheer Clinic for students in preschool through grade 5.  The High School cheerleaders will work with students to learn healthy nutrition, proper stretching techniques, motions, jumps, sideline chants, group cheer, and dances.  Participants will receive a team t-shirt.  All participants are invited to join our Panther Cheerleaders for a performance during halftime of the Varsity basketball game.  Please click here for more information and a registration form; deadline to register is Friday, January 18. MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL SCHOOL NEWS 
 
COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS MEETING
On Wednesday, January 9, BGSU will be presenting the College Credit Plus program to current 6-11th grade students and parents. The presentation will meet the counseling requirement for the 2019-2020 school year. The meeting will be in the PPC starting at 6:00pm. SUMMER OF 2020 GERMANY TRIP MEETING
An "Experience Germany" trip is being planned for the summer of 2020 for students who will be in grades 9-12. The tour will be visiting Berlin and Munich, and you can preview the trip at www.eftours.com/exg. There will be a meeting on January 8, 2019 at 6:30pm in the Panther Performance Center to discuss the details. For anyone that's looking to get a head start on making payments, you can enroll at www.eftours.com/2213791E. There is an "early sign up" discount of $200 if you sign up by December 31, 2018.
