Our Gift to Congress - a Moment of Pause!

On January 3rd,
the day the new US legislators are sworn into office
, Pathways To Peace, with our partner
LiveaMoment
,
along with their collaboration with America Mediating Radio, are giving our elected officials the greatest gift of all - a nation unified in creating Peace, with our Legislators being the recipients!
Please join us for this Global Pause for Peace at 12:00 noon Eastern Time (ET) on Thursday, January 3rd, at the precise moment that our policymakers are taking their oaths to serve. The following Monday, January 7th, and every Monday thereafter at 12:00 noon, through the
LiveaMoment
app, we will come together as a virtual community, joined by our collective vision for Peace.
Together, we will build and sustain a powerful field of Peace, enabling our new legislative body to act on good conscious and to deliver a more unified and inclusive national agenda that supports the highest good of all. We are dreaming a new beginning for our congress and for our world. The time is right. Jump into our virtual Peace wave!

You feel." to incite more empathy and understanding across perceived boundaries. Reflections on Future Peacebuilding
Over the past four decades, Pathways to Peace has worked with the United Nations to nurture and grow
the International Day of Peace (Peace Day) into a global movement that now engages millions of people around the world. The partnership with
LiveaMoment
comes just at the right time, when we need it the most, to make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many people.
It will exponentially increase the number of people engaged in pausing for Peace, and will strengthen the field of Peace more rapidly than was ever possible in the past.
In addition, the
LiveaMoment
app increases the capacity of Peacebuilding organizations around the world to expand their reach and sustain their Peacebuilding efforts. Is there any reason not to be excited?

LiveaMoment is a revolutionary new platform built on the philosophy that emotion can connect people around the world.
Through the development of a community dedicated to finding pause in a world filled with chaos, we strive to create a global emotional map and use it to incite heightened positivity, three minutes and three feet of Peace at a time.
LiveaMoment has released a first-of-its-kind app designed to help people create connection with others, encourage emotional intelligence, and inspire a deeper and more enduring Peace.
LiveaMoment is being study by Coventry University's Center for Trust, Peace & Social Relations to research the efficacy of the app in communities around the world, as the platform is being recognized as a leading innovator in the field of technology and peacebuilding.
Background on LiveaMoment and our travels:
LiveaMoment's Our State of Peace Project started when Deborah Greene, "The Peace Traveler" & Founder/ CEO, traveled 9000 miles by car to over 40 states during the last elections cycle, forging conversations and documenting how we feel as individuals, as a nation, and as a growing global whole. The result is a tapestry of human emotion made up of hundreds of voices.
This winter, the project is expanding its scope by traveling the globe, creating cross-cultural events, filming more voices, and raising funds for non-profits through the release of their donation function on the app. (The app is offered for free to all users and users are asked to donate to a featured org from a curated list.)
