Chairman's Message
Last month, I had the opportunity to attend the Palmdale Chamber of Commerce Installation Banquet. I would like to thank the event organizers for a great event, which celebrated the accomplishments of outgoing Chairwoman Tina DeRienzo, and welcomed incoming Chair Sarah Mann. If the last six months have taught me anything, it is that serving as Chair is no easy task. Between the board meetings, luncheons, and ribbon cuttings, "free time" becomes a scarcity. Yet, somehow, Tina still managed to find time during her tenure as Chair to volunteer at the Antelope Valley Fair Parade and Lancaster Chamber Christmas/Holiday Parade. For years now, I have grown accustomed to seeing Tina zip through Downtown Lancaster in a golf cart, helping organize parade entries and manage some of the chaos. I would like to take a minute to thank Tina for her service to our community, and I hope that she enjoys the much more fun role of serving as Past Chair for the next year.
The next few months will be a busy time for the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce. I invite you to join me in attending and supporting as many of these events as possible. Thank you for being a member of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and I look forward to seeing you at one of our upcoming events!

he Board of Directors is composed eighteen (18) members, each serving a three year term. Each year, one third of the board members' term expires.
The government and policy-making responsibilities of the Chamber shall be vested in the Board of Directors, which shall control its property, be responsible for its finances, and direct its affairs.
If you are interested in serving as a Director on the Board for the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, we welcome and encourage you to notify our nominating committee of your interest. The Chamber's goal is to achieve a diverse group of community and business leaders composed of a cross section of our membership to drive our organization.
