Reflections After the Event

A Day of Kingdom Knowledge in Review
Everything we prayed for was accomplished at this year’s Day of Kingdom Knowledge event. The Lord provided nonstop blessings and anointings throughout Friday and Saturday spilling over to Sunday. Thank you to all the intercessors who faithfully held the event in prayer. We started Friday evening with worship and praise led by Rev. Rick and Debbie McBrayer and their beautifully gifted daughter, Harmony Bathauer. The worship time launched us into the presence of the Lord! Next, we listened to Casey Shutrop from WOW Ministries as she encouraged us to Know, Grow, and Go with our ministries.

The Consecration of Ordination into the Ministry of Jesus Christ of Diane Maxey was an exceptional service for all in attendance. Rev. Diane Maxey professed her calling and her Christian faith to serve and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She received the mantle of spiritual authority (prayer shawl) and presentation of her ordination certificate. Her first official public act was to serve communion. A celebration reception followed the service. Praise be to God!

Saturday morning was exciting when Rev. Gwen Ehrenborg greeted the audience via a Zoom video call opening us in prayer including an Aaronic blessing. Worship and Praise filled the room as we prepared for the day’s teaching. Our first speaker was Rev. Pamela Christian . Her topic "Penetrating the Cultural Opposition to Christianity" walked us through step by step about why it is essential to know how to “engage a culture which views the Church as irrelevant and archaic.” Pam taught us how to give reliable and valid responses that are offered in love while building our confidence and equipping our ministry. Our second speaker, Rev. Dr. Charlyn Hiebert , shared her family’s testimony in No. Korea which brought a serious tone to Christian persecution around the world. Her teaching on how head knowledge and compassionate love meets the need of others was well received. Our third speaker, Rev. Dani Sumner knocked our socks off with an intense message on real issues facing women in ministry, God’s gifting, and overcoming challenges in your ministry!

A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event a success for His Glory! A special thank you to Apostle Dr. Andrew and Pastor Ann Marie Bills with the Holy Spirit Broadcasting Network for filming the speakers. My most profound appreciation to the SWIM Board members who worked so hard all year long to bring this event to fruition. They truly reflected the light and love of Jesus Christ. Amen!

Sending you agape love in Christ Jesus,
Susan Abrams, President SWIM International
