Quit Drinking to Reverse Alcoholic Brain Damage
New cells can develop for years after quitting alcohol
Scientists have established that the " shrinkage " that alcohol can cause in some regions of the brain that results in cognitive damage will begin to reverse when alcohol stays out of the body for lengthening periods of time.

Join us for a big dose of HOPE (and caffeine).

Springs Recovery Connection Impact
Sober Living

Dear Springs Recovery Connection,
I just wanted to write a formal thank you to SRC for helping me grow these past few months. I wouldn't have been able to succeed and be so happy with my life right now if it wasn't for my recovery coach Sparkle and the help SRC gave me with paying my rent. The money gave me the room and opportunity to leave a toxic relationship, and I cannot thank you all enough!
Sincerely,
Ania C.

Recovery Hero: Jayme S
My name is Jayme S. I began my journey into recovery six years ago. In that time I have met some challenges and setbacks however have maintained a strong drive and progression with my recovery process.
My accomplishments since practicing the recovery lifestyle that are most notable is becoming a person who cares and respects the needs of others instead of selfish personal gain. When active in my addiction I tend to disregard other’s feelings and do not care if I step on toes along the way. I now pursue a more compassionate and respectful way of thinking and acting.

Colorado bills addressing opioid crisis signed into law
“Countless communities across the state have been devastated by the opioid crisis and too many have lost loved ones because of lack of access to treatment. Unfortunately, the current pandemic has made things even more dire,” Sen. Pettersen, D-Lakewood, said in a statement upon the trio of bills being signed. “We are hearing heartbreaking stories across the state of people who have relapsed or fallen into misusing drugs because of the isolation and disconnection people are facing during COVID. Our work has never been more urgent and these bills are critical to addressing some of the gaps people still face to get the care they need.”
