News from Hamilton High School
Thank You!
Thank you to all the families that joined us yesterday for Campus Beautification. This is what community can do!
Congratulations!
Congratulations to Dakota Mendoza-Lewis who was awarded Student of the Year runner up by the California Language Teachers Association. She will be receiving a scholarship to participate in the CIEE Global Navigator Language & Culture program in Morocco. Kudos to our fabulous Arabic teacher Ms. El Oudiyi for nominating her and supporting her through the process.
Congratulations to Mr. Foschia and Jazz Band for earning another major recognition. Last Wednesday they performed at the yearly China General Chamber of Commerce USA Gala. They were awarded and honored as Excellent Partner of the Year.
Congratulations to our Girls’ Basketball team for their victory against Legacy High School in the Open Division Consolation Bracket Final. Under the guidance of Head Coach Sherlam Chensam and Assistant Coach Terry Cooke, the team is the #5 overall best team in the City! The student-athletes’ dedication and hard work has paid off and now they will take their show to the State Tournament this coming week. Good luck!

And congrats to Girls Basketball player Kennedee Rankin for being featured as the Student Athlete of the Week in the LA Sentinel. Read the article here .
