Our very own Julie Krupnick was selected to represent the American Diabetes Association's ad campaign with Walgreens. Julie has been a volunteer and active supporter of the ADA for decades. She was diagnosed at age 11, and will soon be celebrating her 40th survivorversary. Julie was a previous ADA board member, held leadership roles, helped chair events, volunteered at events including its walks, galas, and golf tournaments. Next spring she will be attending Call to Congress in Washington, DC. The ADA convenes Call to Congress -- bringing hundreds of Diabetes Advocates to Capitol Hill to educate members of Congress about the impact of diabetes, share personal stories, and advocate for key federal priorities like federal funding to support diabetes research and access to healthcare. Call to Congress is the premier advocacy campaign for ADAs Diabetes Advocates to drive positive change among congressional champions and key influencers.
