From the Executive Director:
The Sisters Chase by Susan Healy
I read voraciously. There is always a big stack of books on my bedside table. The last thing I read was The Sisters Chase, by Sarah Healy, and I loved it. The New York Times described it as a "slow burner," and I agree with that. It begins quietly, and slowly, and then it sucks you in completely.
The story revolves around two young sisters who are left to fend for themselves after a family tragedy. The older sister, Mary, is a beautiful, tough survivor who will quite literally do anything to care for . . . (read more)

If Memory Serves -   Art Exhibit
Lynda Knisley's years as an Art Educator to learners of every age have resulted in a definition of art-making that is flexible and broad. The intersection of unconventional materials and her responses to Vermont barns and vintage protraits yield "reminders of people and places we know, if only by imagination where clock time cannot intrude."
We find fewer noble barn structures in our landscape and fewer vintage fashion statements packed in attic trunks. To honor them, fragments of text, rusty oddments, and "found materials" make each assemblage unique in availability and style.  Lynda shows watercolors, collages, and pastels
