Logan creates the ultimate gaming system
A quiet 17-year-old, Logan loves drawing and woodworking, snowboarding, and playing video games. Logan is also living with (and fighting) cancer and wished for a gaming computer. When approached to help with Logan’s wish, TRINUS in Stony Plain not only welcomed the challenge, but invited Logan to join them in building the computer instead of just delivering a finished product.

Logan spent his wish day putting components together to create the ultimate gaming computer, installing software and optimizing his computer for the best possible performance. There were other special touches too: a special graphic based on Logan’s favorite game was designed by NWT Promotions, and wrapped onto the computer by Fine Line Industries. At the end of the day, Logan was presented with a specially commissioned Batman print by local artist Robert Bailey, a licensed Marvel characters illustrator.

Logan was accompanied throughout his wish day by TRINUS’ Kevin White, himself a past wish kid. “It was a huge pleasure for us to host this unforgettable event and help fulfill Logan’s wish.”

“Thank you for helping my boy see a future in his future!” said Logan’s mom, Lisa. “We are forever thankful and will pay your generosity forward.”
We asked, you answered!
In a survey we sent to donors, we asked what they would wish for if given the opportunity. Given the temperatures lately, it's not surprising that 60% of respondents said "I wish to go". The next most popular answer was "I wish to give back", followed by "I wish to have" then "I wish to meet". What would you wish for?

We'd like to hear from you too! If you haven't yet completed the donor survey, click the link below. Thank you!
Dish • Score • Wish!
Our incredible YPAC (Young Professional Advisory Council for Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta) is hosting a ball hockey tournament! Dish • Score • Wish will be held April 6 at CFB Edmonton. Teams of 10 will face off against each other and all proceeds go to Make-A-Wish! Game on!
You can create a Make-A-Wish fundraiser too!
Donor events—like the YPAC's Dish-Score-Wish —are an incredible way for supporters to raise money for Make-A-Wish. You chose the event and organize it; a book sale, silent auction, jewelry party, fun run... the options are endless. We'll promote your event and support you along the way. When you're done, donate the proceeds to Make-A-Wish and know you helped make a difference in the life of a local child living with a critical illness.
