Careers in High River
The Town of High River is a people-first community on the Highwood River and a great place to live, work and play. We strive to meet our values of being respectful, ethical, transparent and always acting in the best interest of the community.

As a member of our team you will have the opportunity to work on important projects that are helping to shape the future of the town.

Pool opening rescheduled to late March/early April
After filling the pool for the planned re-opening, we noticed that the water level was dropping significantly over a 12-hour period. Our operations team has since been working to determine why the water level dropped and Canadian Leak Detection was called in last week to complete an inspection.

We are now working with our maintenance contractor to complete the necessary repairs. Unfortunately, we will not be able to open the pool until late March or early April and swim lessons for March have been cancelled.

Regular progress updates will be posted on  highriver.ca/aquatics-facility  in the coming weeks or, you can follow us on Facebook .

Also watch for the Spring/Summer Community Guide coming out in early March!
Nominate your ‘Stars of High River’ before March 18
National Volunteer Week runs from April 7-13, and the Town of High River will be celebrating and recognizing volunteers with a variety of activities and events planned throughout the week.

The community is encouraged to recognize and thank the volunteers in their lives by submitting a nomination form for volunteer of the year.

The full schedule of events, along with nomination forms, are available at highriver.ca/national-volunteer-week/
