Tigers on the Loose
Wednesday, April 10

Join us at the Museum of the American Revolution for our annual scholarship celebration to raise critical funds for student financial aid. 

Tickets include a reception and open bar in the Museum's Liberty Hall and open-air terraces, as well as access to the Museum's exhibition galleries and special presentations of George Washington's War Tent.

Great Day to be a Tiger Success

Holy Family University celebrated its 65th birthday, Great Day to be a Tiger, on February 11, 2019. The day included events for the entire Holy Family community, such as a Taste of Philadelphia lunch, Tiger Talks, Mass, and a Sto Lat birthday party featuring Bob Kelly of FOX 29, Mummers (Quaker City String Band) and Stock's cake for all!

In addition, the University held a Day of Giving initiative that resulted gifts from 187 donors. Having surpassed the goal of 165 donors, the University will receive a $10,000 match from a group of leadership donors.

  • Ray and Mildred Taylor Awards Fund Research and Relationship Building Dr. Michael Markowitz, Vice President for Academic Affairs, announced this year's recipients of the Ray and Mildred Taylor Awards during the University's Spring Business Meeting on January 16. The award program was established through an endowment created by Carol Taylor, RN, PhD, a former University faculty member who served from 1979-1987 and 1995-1997 in the School of Nursing and Allied Health Professions. Taylor and her family created the award to honor her parents: Raymond and Mildred Taylor. Carol was honored by the School of Nursing and Allied Health Professions in October 2012 with its highest award, the Distinguished Nursing Alumni Award. Read more..
 
  • Holy Family University Launches New MS in Organizational Leadership Program Holy Family University has officially launched its Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership, a Rapid Degree program. Organizational Leadership is a field of study within business management where students learn ways in which highly functional organizations operate and the role that strong leaders play in contributing to this success. Read more...
  • Rosen Publishes Pair of Works Dr. Jonathan Rosen, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice in the School of Arts and Sciences, and his co-author, Hanna Samir Kassab, released their latest collaborative book, Corruption, Institutions, and Fragile States. The book was published by Palgrave Macmillan. They previously published Drugs, Gangs, and Violence in September 2018. Read more...
  • Holy Family University Receives Title IX Grant Funding for Second Year Holy Family University was awarded an It's On Us PA Grant through the Governor's Office in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Education on January 9, 2019. The grant money, totaling $29,960, will help support continuing education for the Tigers that ROAR program. Read more...
     
  • Ginsberg Named to Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology Cohort Dr. Freda Ginsberg, Director of the Counseling Psychology graduate program, has been named to the Leadership Institute for Women in Psychology (LIWP) 2019 cohort. Dr. Ginsberg was nominated by Dr. Shelley Robbins, Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. Read more...

Tri-Lite  has been the official student newspaper of Holy Family University since 1954.  Tri-Lite  provides student journalists opportunities to hone their craft and prepare for a career in the evolving media landscape.  Tri-Lite  transitioned from a print publication to a digital presence in October 2017.

Holy Family Day at the Franklin Institute with Marvel Superheroes 
Saturday, June 8

The Alumni Association invites the entire Holy Family community to join us on Saturday, June 9 th at the Franklin Institute to visit the new  Marvel: Universe of Superheroes exhibit!

Adult Ticket (Ages 18+): $24  ( $13 off regular priced ticket )
Youth Ticket (Children 3-18): $18 ( $9 off regular priced ticket)
Children ages 2 and under are free.

Tickets MUST be purchased in advance to receive the discount. Tickets include 10:30 AM entrance to the  Marvel: Universe of Superheroes exhibit as well as general admission to the Franklin Institute for the rest of the day. Full price tickets will be available at the door, but do not guarantee access to the exhibit.
