Leonard Armato Speaks to Pacific Student-Athletes
On November 20th, all Pacific student-athletes and sport management/business marketing students were invited to a special presentation featuring former UOP men's basketball player, Leonard Armato.
Armato is a leader in developing, positioning, and building "high growth" brands converging sports, entertainment, marketing, and technology.
He is the founder and CEO of Management Plus Enterprises (MPE) Former CMO of Skechers , CEO of the AVP Pro Beach VB Tour; and the CEO of S&P, a creative, innovations agency.

This past weekend, Pacific men's water polo finished the 2019 season as the national runner-up after falling to Stanford 13-8 in the NCAA Men's Water Polo National Championship on Sunday afternoon at Chris Kjeldsen Pool.
Despite the loss, the Tigers enjoyed one of their most successful seasons in recent memory, finishing as the national runner-up for the second time since 2013.
Senior redshirt, Luke Pavillard and senior, Engin Ege Colak, were both selected to the NCAA All-Tournament First Team for their efforts over the weekend. Pavillard finished the tournament with 8 total goals, 5 assists and 10 total points while Colak added one goal in UOP's semi-final win over Pepperdine.

Warren T. McNeil Endowed Athletic Scholarship
Sigrid Aas of Women's Soccer is a senior from Lund, Sweden majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
In her senior season season, Aas appeared in 16 of the Tigers' 19 contests with 13 starts. She led the team with three goals and seven points on the year with 24 shots. Aas scored the game-winner in Pacific's 2-1 win over Northern Arizona and scored twice on senior night against Gonzaga.

- Favorite food: Since I am from Sweden, I have to answer meatballs with potatoes and lingonberries!
- Best experience at UOP thus far: When I went to Hawaii with my team. The clear water and the lovely people were just amazing!

Tiger Talk with the Coaches

The Pacific Athletic Foundation invites you to be our guest for Tiger Talk with the Coaches TOMORROW from 5:30-7:00 at Brookside Country Club.
Tiger Talk with the Coaches will provide you the opportunity to enjoy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments while mingling with various Pacific coaches who will be in attendance. The coaches will then partake in a panel-style discussion hosted by Pacific men's basketball radio play-by-play announcer, Zack Bayrouty. Featured coaches include:

1979 Men' Basketball Team Reunion & Recognition
|
Saturday, January 4, 2020
- Alex G. Spanos Center
On January 4th, members from the 1979 Pacific men's basketball team will be on campus for a reunion and will be recognized on the court at halftime during the men's basketball game against Saint Mary's at 7:00. Be sure to give them a loud welcome back!
After starting the season 1-6, the 1978-79 team went on to win 17 of their final 23 games. Led by Coach Stan Morrison, the Tigers posted an 11-3 mark in the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA) to claim the Tigers first title since 1970-71. They then went on to win the PCAA Tournament and earn a berth into the NCAA Tournament.

PAF Men's Basketball Pre-Game Hospitality
|
Saturday, January 11, 2020 - Alex and Jeri Vereschagin Alumni House
The next PAF Men's Basketball pre-game hospitality will be held on Saturday, January 11th at the Alumni House prior to the Tigers game against San Francisco. The hospitality will be from 2:00-3:30 and include food, beer, and wine. It will also include the opportunity to hear from one of our Pacific men's basketball coaches who will stop by to discuss their game plan for USF. Tip off is set for 4:00 in the Spanos Center.

Pacific Softball's 38th Annual Cioppino Feed
|
Friday, January 17, 2020 - American Legion Hall
The Tigers' Cioppino Feed will kick off on Friday, January 17, 2020. For just $60, supporters will get a full night of fun at the American Legion Hall in Lodi, beginning with a no-host cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m.
Immediately following is an all-you-can-eat dinner at 7:30 p.m. The dinner will include Cioppino, pasta, salad, bread and wine. After dinner, guests are invited to stay for an auction, raffle, and DJ from 8:30-11:00 p.m.
