FAITHFUL GENERATIONS ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS: All interested adults are invited to join the Faithful Generations class Sunday in the Wydown Meeting Room from 10:30-11 AM. This is a group of parents, grandparents, and interested adults finding community and supporting the faithful growth of our families. We have begun reading the book Liturgy of the Ordinary by Tish Harrison Warren. Feel free to come, even if you don’t have or haven’t read the book! We will discuss the challenges and successes of parenting in faith.

ADULT CONFIRMATION CLASSES WILL NOT MEET THIS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24 . If you wish to be confirmed, the classes will take place in the Sverdrup Room on Sunday mornings after the 9:15 AM liturgy, and conclude on March 10. For those of you who have already been confirmed in the ELCA, Roman Catholic, or Orthodox churches, you might consider being formally “Received” into the Episcopal Church. Whether you would like to be Confirmed or Received, the effect is the same – formal membership in the Episcopal Church and at CSMSG.

Contact Debbie at communications@csmsg.org or Laurie at Laurie@csmsg.org or 314.721.1502 if you wish to be Confirmed or Received.

NAMETAGS: Please wear your nametags. If you cannot find your nametag, please write your name on the clipboard in the Wydown Narthex. It will be waiting for you on the clipboard next week.

THANK YOU to all who baked, cooked, bought, and supported the Hunger Ministry Annual Soup Sale.
Did you know that the people who assist the clergy by reading the lessons and helping to administer Communion are members of the St. Paul’s Guild? These nine women and 14 men, all fellow parishioners, seek to deepen their faith by serving as Readers and Chalice Bearers at the Sunday liturgies and the weekly Daily Offices. Reading the Bible well enables the congregation to hear God’s Word with clarity and new understanding.
HOLY LISTENING SESSION FOR BISHOP SEARCH/NOMINATING SEARCH/NOMINATING COMMITTEE:

The Diocese of Missouri elects its Eleventh Bishop in 2019. It is important to make our hopes and concerns known to the Bishop Search and Nominating Committee so the best candidates can be put forward.

Please, it is important to take the survey. The survey is anonymous, and its results will outline an overall picture of the Diocese. The Holy Listening Sessions painted in the specific hopes of the various congregations. Out of more than 11,000 Episcopalians in our Diocese, fewer than 200 have responded to the survey to date.

The link to the survey can be found at http://diocesemo.org/bishopsearch . Anyone affiliated with the Diocese or on their Faith journey with us can respond to the survey. The survey closes on Monday, February 25!

The Bishop Search/Nominating Committee is committed to receiving as much input as possible about how people in our congregations and ministry groups see our diocese, the work of the Episcopal Church in Missouri, and what you hope for and think we need in a new Bishop.

JTM WOMEN'S MINISTRY FUND
Jan Torrisi-Mokwa was invaluable in enhancing the Women's Ministry at The Church of St. Michael & St. George, as well as founding the ECW Steering Council by lovingly guiding the group through a process that brought our value and mission statements to fruition. One of the ways that her memory will be honored is by establishing a fund to support the Women's Retreats that Jan so dearly loved. The money will be used to pay for retreat leaders as well as provide scholarships for attendees. If you would like to contribute, please make your check payable to CSMSG and note "JTM Women's Ministry Fund" in the memo. Please contact Laurie Brown at Laurie@csmsg.org if you have any questions.
