WATCH: Does Travel Time Reliability Matter?
The average American spends over 40 hours stuck in traffic per year. This costs each person $960 and 19 gallons of wasted fuel. Travel time reliability, or one's ability to get to a regular destination in the same amount of time on every trip, impacts many aspects of life, including time and money. To understand what makes a reliable transportation network, watch this short video from the Federal Highway Administration or click here.
