MINISTRY & SERVICE
From the Chaplain's Office
This Sunday, Dec. 2 begins the Season of Advent. It is a time of preparation to receive Jesus into our lives. St. Bernard of Clairvaux (12th century abbot) once wrote of the "Three Comings of the Lord" - at his birth on Christmas Day; at his return in glory at the end of time; and into our hearts each day. In the rush leading up to Christmas, this daily arrival of the Lord into our lives is often missed. During Advent, I encourage you to find some quiet time each day to make yourself aware of the presence of Jesus in your life. Also, let us pray for each other in this holy season.

More importantly, our donations are helping all those in need who are served by the following organizations; St. Vincent de Paul, The Food Bank and Catholic Relief Services. Great job to all who supported our drive!
