The things that we have always known about cleantech in Colorado are starting to go mainstream.
CCIA was founded in 2008 with a mission to provide advocacy, collaboration and practical resources to Colorado’s cleantech innovators, working to ensure that Colorado is global cleantech leader.
In the intervening years, we have seen the economy go down and up and the national policy landscape swing widely and unpredictably; meanwhile, Colorado has been chugging away at goals small and large that lay the foundation for a home for advanced energy and the new energy economy, which will be based largely on renewables.
One of our efforts takes the form of an Institute called Energy Fellows, where we play a part in training the leaders of the new energy future. We have begun accepting applications for the annual program which provides a deep dive into Colorado’s clean energy and clean technology ecosystem, and runs May 15-22, 2019.
Go to
EnergyFellows.com
for more information, or feel free to reach out directly by replying to this newsletter.
Regards,
CCIA

Favorable GSA Report on CCIA Company Silver Bullet
A recently released report from the General Services Administration (GSA), an independent agency of the United States government, supports CCIA member company
Silver Bullet
’s cooling tower water treatment solutions and recommends their technology for deployment throughout GSA’s roster of buildings. The GSA was driven to initiate a Green Proving Ground (GPG) alternative water treatment (AWT) program because cooling tower-related water consumption is one of largest potable water loads within federally-owned buildings. GSA data shows that over 26% of building water use is associated with heating and cooling. According to GSA, this is by far the dominant water use case in federal buildings, owing largely to the evaporative cooling demands from either water-cooled cooling towers or evaporation-based air conditioning systems.
