Warbirds Wings & Wheels
Car Show & Swap Meet at  Estrella Warbirds Museum, May 11th, 1019

The Board of Directors of Estrella Warbirds Museum would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your past participation in our  swap meets.  We are inviting you to attend our next car show/swap meet on May 11th, 2019.

2019 sees many changes in store for both the car show and swap meet.   We are welcoming on board a new swap meet coordinator John Spooner.   John comes to us with an extensive background in organizing events for Cal Fire.  His expertise will allow us to bring the swap meet to a new level this year.

A huge change in 2019 is that the swap meet will be held totally on the newly acquired museum property on the West side of the museum along with free parking for the  swap meet buyers for easier access to the swap meet and access to the car show. Ground preparations are underway now. This will allow you to be able to set up your space on Friday from Noon to 7 pm. Overnight parking will also be available with lighting and a security guard.  A roving cart will be selling coffee, water and donuts in the morning.  Space sizes and prices will remain the same.  Requested spaces will be issued as they are received.  The entry request for the swap meet can be downloaded here. Please complete and mail or return to Estrella Warbirds Museum at 4251 Dry Creek Road in Paso Robles 93446.  All checks are to be payable to EWM. Online registration is also available at: https://www.ewarbirds.org/www/swapmeet.shtml.  Please note: Due to the construction going on as the new grounds are being being reformatted, the layout map for the swap meet is currently pending. It will be posted online as soon as it is available.

In addition to the swap meet, we have the following:

The museum has newly expanded show car parking along with expanded spectator parking to accommodate more cars and visitors.  The Throttle Merchants will be returning with a larger display of their old vintage front engine dragsters and a display of vintage tractors.   We will have an expanded food court along with Firestone Walker Brewing Company pouring their great beer and a wine bar. All museum buildings will be open from 10 am to 4 pm with several new displays and vehicles.  Woodland Auto Display is adding an addition to their building which should be done and complete with new cars and memorabilia.

Friday night, May 10th, is the kickoff to the weekend and dinner and barn dance with Monte Mills and the Lucky Horseshoe Band.   No host bar with Firestone beer and an assortment of local wines is available.   Cost is $35 per person with a break for tables of 8 or 10.  Reservations are required and may be made online at www.ewarbirds.org or at the museum prior to May 6th.
