Message from the President
by Jim Keating BACA President

As we head into December, we feature several exciting events. We will hold our last planned BACA Performer's Showcase on December 9 at 6:00 pm featuring five singers who will delight and entertain us, and we all hope you'll support them.

I also hope to see many of you at the Annual Holiday Party on Saturday the December 15 from 4 to 7 pm at Linda's home. Our mainstay event, the monthly Open Mic will be held on the third Wednesday this month on December 19 rather than our normal fourth Wednesday. I thank Linda Marks, Kevin Luey, and Carole Bundy and many other volunteers for their work on these.

BACA Ambassador Program
I've started what I call the BACA Ambassador Program and I open this to any member. When attending a cabaret or related musical event, I hand deliver an appropriate greeting card with a BACA pin in a small gift bag. It's a great way to spread good will and get our organization's name recognized by major performers. If you are attending a concert or event, let me know in advance and you, too, can be an Ambassador!

Lastly, BACA will produce a Cabaret Masterclass and other educational programs in 2019. Announcements will come soon. Please be sure your membership is up-to-date to participate in the Holiday Party and upcoming classes! We hope you will participate in at least one event this month. After all, cabaret happens IRL (in real life)!

Yours in music and self-expression,
Jim Keating
President
