LITTLE CREEK WREATHS FUNDRAISER
It's time to Spruce It Up with Little Creek! Little Creek's evergreen wreaths are available for pre-sale now until Friday, December 7. Along with your wreath, all pre-sale orders will receive a handmade custom bow, festive decorations, and holiday ornament handmade by Little Creek's little artists! All proceeds from these wreaths will go to purchasing remaining items from the Little Creek Wish Tree - so be sure to grab a wreath for every door! They will not only spruce up your home, but the proceeds will help spruce up our Little Creek classrooms!  Click here to order yours now!

Would you rather see the wreaths in person? Decorated wreaths will be on display in the lobby of Little Creek soon, so be on the lookout for your chance to take a peek at the finished product during pick-up or drop-off. We are sure you will love them!

Are you more of a hands-on wreath maker? Come and purchase a wreath and decorations to personalize it at the Little Creek booth downtown on Saturday, December 8 during Dickens Weekend. You can decorate your wreath right at the booth, so bring the family for a fun art activity! But wait - there's more! We want to see your wreaths in action! Post a picture of your decorated wreath on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #SpruceItUpLC2018, and you will be entered into a contest to win exciting prizes!

Wreath pricing is as follows:
  • pre-sale wreath with handmade ornament and bow: $40
  • wreaths downtown on 12/8: $35 (plus extra for decorating kits)
Thanks for your support, and be sure to share our Spruce It Up wreath sale with any of your family and friends who might be interested this holiday season. Want a bigger reach? Share  THIS LINK on your social media to help us get the word out!

AROUND THE CREEK

Little Creek's pre-kindergarten students are enjoying these "building sticks" - a great STEM activity that promotes sharing, creating and problem solving.

As part of their energy topic, students in Mrs. Johnson's Environmental STEM class were challenged to design and construct a working windmill!

Meanwhile, Mrs. Kirby's Discovery students are learning all about energy and used this week's wind to learn about energy sources and harnessing the wind using windmills!

In Orton-Gillingham games, Aidan uses self-talk throughout the activity to determine the syllable division pattern (it's not a ro/bin it's a rob/in). So great to see his progress!

Meet Little Creek's newest student - Bo (hanging with his new friend Creek on the left!)

Over Thanksgiving break, Ms. Singer's Intro to Literature class did a reading competition and together logged over 29 hours, or 1,750 minutes of reading!

William visited with Ms. Dinnis and Harper (Ms. Serio's dog) last week in the speech room! William was working on his fluency skills and Harper was helping him stay calm and alert throughout his work!
