This Week at Charlotte Lab School
Dear Lab Family,

A special thank you to everyone who supported our school on #GivingTuesday. We are so fortunate to have such a generous and supportive Lab community helping us accomplish our goals.

If you haven't yet had a chance to make a donation to the Lab Innovation Fund , it is not too late! This year, we hope to raise $300,000 by May 31, 2019, which will provide essential funding for many of the programs and activities that make our school special and allow us to create a truly innovative learning environment. We depend on our families, friends, and community for their support so that we can accomplish our ambitious goals. You can find out more about the  Lab Innovation Fund and Ways to Give  on our website. Stay tuned for more information in upcoming eNewsletters.

As a reminder, your child's progress report will be sent home on Friday in his/her communication folder. Please review the report and make note of any questions you would like to discuss at parent-teacher conferences during the week of December 10. Be on the lookout for an email from your child's advisor to sign up for a conference time.

Thanks again for supporting Lab on #GivingTuesday!

Sincerely,

Dr. Mary Moss
Executive Director

Help 3rd Graders Raise Money for Victims of the Wildfires
The 3rd grade community decided that a penny project would be a great way to help the California community combat the devastation of the wildfires. We would love for 2nd through 5th grades to be a part of this authentic community service initiative. Please help us collect pennies to support the victims of the wildfires. K-1 just finished a penny drive but are welcome to bring in any extra pennies if they desire!
Lab Family Middle School Open House
Save the Date! All 5th Grade parents are invited to attend a special MS Open House designed just for current Lab families interested in seeing what Lab Middle School is all about. Please join our MS teachers, leadership, and our wonderful Lab Student Ambassadors for a short presentation followed by a tour of the MS campus on Thursday January 24, 2019 6:30-8:00pm (please note the date change).

Most importantly, fatty fish and seafood are high in omega-3 fats.  Read more.
